Not your traditional pizza base, this one is more like a batter that you cook before adding your toppings, but I am yet to find someone that isn’t pleasantly surprised by this gluten-free, grain-free pizza!
WHAT YOU NEED.
150g arrowroot or tapioca flour
50g coconut flour OR 90g almond meal
120g water
110g olive oil
1 egg
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes (optional)
What To Do.
Preheat oven to 200C and line a large baking tray.
Add all ingredients to your Thermomix, food processor or mixing bowl and mix until well combined (speed 5 on your Thermomix or medium speed in your processor).
Spread the batter over your baking tray with a large palette knife and bake in the oven until golden brown.
Add toppings and pop back in the oven until golden.
Top with rocket, olives, baby tomatoes and a drizzle of balsamic glaze for extra deliciousness.
