CADA with greek yoghurt

a simple and delicious breakfast alternative to muesli.

I first heard of CADA (Coconut, Apple, Dates, Almonds) from Cyndi O’Meara at Changing Habits. It’s such a quick and easy breakfast and is a delicious balance of sweet and tart when served with unsweetened Greek yoghurt!

WHAT YOU NEED.

  • 2 apples, cored

  • 50g almonds

  • 50g desiccated or shredded coconut

  • 4-6 dates

  • Greek yoghurt to serve

What To Do.

  1. Add dates and almonds to your Thermomix bowl or food processor and blitz until chopped well (speed 8 or 9 in your Theremomix or medium to high in your food processor. You can have chunky or fine, depending on what you like. You could also just chop these with a knife if you don’t mind it a chunkier consistency.

  2. Add cored and quartered apples and coconut and chop or grate (speed 4 in a Thermomix or low in a food processor). You could also grate by hand.

  3. Serve with a dollop of Greek yoghurt and a sprinkle of cinnamon if you like.

Enjoy.
